Half a Century in Quality Education...

Turkey’s first private high school was founded by Erdoğan Demirören, who has always been passionate for quality education. It is now celebrating its 55th year with its exclusive teaching staff, kindergarten, grade school and high school.

Founded in 1958 Ata Educational Systems emerged as the first private high school in Turkey. Located in İstanbul’s elite Etiler district, Ata Koleji was established both as a boarding school and day school and was subsequently acquired by Erdoğan Demirören in 1980, who believed in the power of education to build a better future for Turkey.

While offering an English curriculum, the school went through a change of an educational system and was converted to “Anatolian High School” that began offering German and French as well as English. Ata Educational Institution’s vision is to create an educated society who is secular, creative, modern, active, loving and compassionate and are committed to Atatürk’s reforms and principles and have superior communication skills.
